Has Football gone mad...again?

I probably come to this conclusion myself about 6 times a season.
It was normally when those lot across the park came out in defence of another indefencable actions of one of their orcs.
Or when a player blatantly cheats to swindle the ref , Henry's hand ball vs Ireland , persistent diving and play acting.
Players astronomical wages , the behaviour of players off the field and the skullduggery of FIFA also get the mind thinking at times if football has got past the point of no return.

i started this thread after reading the bbc gossip column of today , a lot of nonsense in there but a few stories popped out that made me wonder WTFF.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/gossip/

Notably
1) Hull City's new signing turned down Benfica for a "dream move" to the premier league
2) spurs owner wants £1 billion for the club
3) UEFA rewrite rules to allow Man City to breech the financial fair play rules
4) Chelsea have expressed interest in an 11 year old from Barcelona

what's next. Have we entered peak football? am I alone in thinking its going a bit mad? are those my feet?.....

Ah here Ijjy, the transfer thread was a juggernaut and it was mostly powered by Twitter dreams and unicorns. Give Peadar's thread a chance.

I just get frustrated with people getting 'annoyed with modern football'. If it's that bad don't read about it. Don't follow it. And most of all don't beleive what we all know are awful fibbing newspapers say.

I don't like religion so I don't read the bible.

Being frustrated about people being frustrated with something is frustrating.

* and Antonio Valencia still plays regularly for a big club.

Happen you should follow your own advice and swerve threads like this where lids like Paedar are having a good old moan.

Just don't read it.
