I'd expect him to "big us up" given that we effectively sorted out his transfer policy in our role as chief scout during his time at Spurs.

Absolutely this with bells on. We have had a fantastic start and should have beaten NUFC. Could be plus 10 goal difference too.

Could've just taken the standard MOTD line and rather than big up the Everton team performance, downplay the opposition's.

I'm fairly neutral on him tbh. He has been a bad blert at times, he has been sound at times. Wasn't overly keen on him getting the England manager job though.
