My SSD just popped and had to put my old drive in. I reckon last time I did backups was a year ago ... ffs ffs ffs.

They have a relatively high fail rate it seems. In the range of 0.5-2%. Dunno why.

Nightmare mate. There are utils you can use to try and recover data from it, if it's not 100% dead. R-Studio for example. I feel your pain. My drive has been making clicking noises recently, i fear the worst. It's a bitch when you don't have a backup drive to rely on.

SSD's do wear out...especially if you do a lot of writes. I love my Sammy...
