Happy Thanksgiving y'all

Thanksgiving is definitely one of my favorite traditions from my adoptive country. It is not only the food (which I found truly delicious) but the opportunity to spend time with family and acknowledge the many things to be grateful about, specially after the hard times we all have encountered because of the pandemic. I, for one, am grateful to have found this community, while Everton hasn’t brought me lots of happiness since becoming a follower, this forum certainly has and I’m thankful to be part of it!

and I’m not thankful that I have to sit through the bears v lions later. Any chance the lions Play somebody else next year NFL ffs. Must be crap for lions fans on thanksgiving every year having there day ruined watching that dross.

I don’t know much about thanksgiving but am I right in thinking it’s when the natives fed the early travellers when they were hungry and then were rewarded at a later date by being filled in and legged into a corner of the land?

Happy thanksgiving regardless. The USA evertonians are sound
