North Wales, particularly the area i grew up is full of Mancs and Scousers, nobody speaks Welsh and nobody identifies with the proper Welsh areas down South and further along the coast towards Caernarfon and Anglesey.

This is a factually flawed argument. I have lived on Anglesey all of my life but would have no idea how to hold a welsh conversation. I live in a very cosmopolitan port town where the majority of people don't speak Welsh..... i'm still proud of my roots though.
