For the first time since I was able to drink I don't have a hangover on New Years Day. Probably cos I had one glass of Claret before bed, no festivities for me this year - and do you know what? I feel great.

Not really, just got more important things to spend money on this year. Me and the wife had a bit of buffet at home, but she was working all day and is working now, so it made sense to have a quiet one.

Hey I was down that London for the 2000 one, and I'll tell you - it was [Poor language removed]. Ended up getting a Subway s/w at 4am, then witnessed a load of cockney oiks (I think that's the term) kicking off on eachother in Tottenham Court Road tube station, and I ended up kipping in Euston floor, not the best.

Me and the wife got engaged on NYE, just before we got off our heads. We have had our fair share of debauchary on NYE, but just wanted a quiet one.
