Had a new set of car mats from my eldest son, the youngest presented me with a large slab of Galaxy chocolate. Not bad taking into account they usually both forget !!!

…wow, very brave. My mother-in-law is still alive at 93 & often tells me about her brother who was a POW with the Japanese. He came home but was a broken man & died quite young, she still has his picture on the wall in her front room.

Yesterday I got Father’s Day cards and presents along with birthday cards and presents, today is my birthday. Going to bbq later, family having cod wrapped in bacon with prawns and Mrs C makes tomato sauce which has onions and balsamic vinegar. Tofu for me as I don’t eat meat. Young Mr C has just given me a John Hiatt CD, I have a few beers and a bottle of Japanese whiskey so I am ser for the day.
