I was in Liverpool last week. In home Bargains they were selling Father’s Day cards in packs of 5…… just sayin

My eldest has brought me tea and toast and jam made with the bread he baked yesterday. I'm doing roast beef for lunch, my favourite, and the grand Prix is on. Happy days
Yep I’ve just had whisky on my cornflakes to celebrate my old dad who swore blind that whisky on his breakfast cereal was central to long life and happiness

Bottle of Laphroaig off elder son. Am awaiting the arrival of younger lad with his offering.
He caught me off guard at Christmas. Expected the usual alcohol offering, but he got a team's worth of those beers of Goodison beer mats and put it in a nice frame. I was chuffed with that but there's a gap now were our ex manager was placed.

I’m in work until Tuesday but before I left my daughter gave me a lovely new hoodie and also a present and card to open today, the package contained a few packs of chocolates and the card was lovely and thoughtful too…. Cheered my day up indeed .
Took my son to footy this morning, he had a blinder, got home and he opened the chocolate bar he bought me, to celebrate. Been a boss morning.
On Thursday my eldest lad met me at the Falkirk wheel, we walked a couple of miles along the Union Canal and up into Canada Woods where he bought me a fat boys breakfast and all the trimmings at a nice restaurant there, we were sitting outside overlooking the scene of the Battle of Falkirk, awesome and something different for Fathers day.
