What is it? No one is or can be happy all the time. So how do you define it?

Saw a stat that Americans consume 70% of the anti-depressants in the world yet we're the richest country. I'm always kind of amazed what we as Americans think we need to be happy (and I include myself here, I'm no better) compared to the rest of the world.

So weigh in here, I want everyone's thoughts. How do you define "happiness" and is it even possible to define it?
