Anyone seen this? Absolutely golden - haven't stopped chuckling at this all morning. It's full of some blinding quotes, not least this:

"He did not attend a meeting in 6 months. The fact no meetings were held is irrellevant"

Having worked with someone that was on a town council for many years, this sounds exactly how every council meeting is.
They go from senior citizens to immature children as soon anyone suggests a meeting.
It's not much different in parliament

No worked on some bad councils not all like that, but read transcripts yes some are like that .......on county councils they get well paid £11,000 upwards infact some Cheif Excutives get more than the PM....LOL

I only went to one big meeting as a senior officer - corruption was rife - the council leader looked like Joseph Stalin lol unfortunately behaved like him too ex Union regional officer - Poacher turned gamekeeper say no more a Labourite who reduced overtime pay to time & a third.... from his workforce on time & a half or double time he was only on 55k a year himself like bent as a corkscrew - he was ousted in the end .... by his electorate for an Independent councillor, at the meeting I was sat next to a chief Auditor who I knew well he stated best place for him was under a bus lol
I never lasted there as honest people on that authority were not wanted.......
