hamstrings is it a training worry

with every one of back four suffering from one as well as other players is it a faullt in our training methods

No. Fatigue is one of the highest risk factors. Along with incomplete warm up.

Genetics probably plays its most significant part along with body posture when at rest.

...hammies finished me off. If you're particularly vulnerable then there are stretches and warm ups a player should do. Those most vulnerable tend to be pacey, quick off the mark types and there is links with lumber/back management.

No mate. Players hamstrings have been going for decades at all clubs.

maybe yes maybe no

but why now is the question.

Genetics has been mooted...nah not having that.

lack of proper recovery, both time and regimen is the cause.

with all the ' 1%er's ' that clubs have now, why are we getting this... one maybe, but not this many, seems more that **** happens.

slightly off topic, but studies have shown that that 3/5ths of achilles injuries are ( new ) footware related

So which of our players have had a hamstring injury this season - Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Deulofeu, anyone else?

I also think our manager having a background in physio means he'll be resting players more extensively with tweaks rather than getting them immediately out again as maybe another manager would.

I'm pretty sure that Jagielka and Distin would have been playing a couple of games earlier under Moyes/whoever.

This is why it's all about squad depth and squad quality if we want to sustain a challenge for the whole season.
