Eh, Mooner - you've come back? Glad to see.

Appreciate your thoughts on the following:

It has already been suggested that Mancini was approached by the Premier League club two weeks ago, meaning there has been time for the new man to assess the squad and consider where he would need to strengthen once the transfer window opens next Friday.

The Sun claims that both Joleon Lescott and Wayne Bridge have been identified as weak links in the City defence and could be the first players to be offloaded. However, Lescott cannot play for another club until July as he played for Everton in August.

Man City transfer talk begins as Roberto Mancini arrives - Barclays Premier League - ESPN Soccernet

Could Citeh really pay 24 million for him then off load him in less than 6 months time?/
Damn right they would - the owners have no concept of value or worth, money is of no object - could definately see his boyhood heroes Villa coming in for him.

And do what, buy him for 12 million? Really hard to see them eating that big of loss in such a short time but you're right - money is certainly no object there.

I'd take Lescott back on a free in a heartbeat.

Yeah, you read that right.

Nah, we'd have to at least throw in Jo.

This sell high bring players back has worked well for Spurs.

Actually we could have used him against Brum for corners yesterday. Cahill and Fellani are having a hard time shedding their markers now with him out.

I like Jo but I'd be ok with that. :D

Speaking of Lescott, this was my favorite gallery picture from the guardian this year.

After the Pienaar thread and in the interests of fainess......................

After a very stop start City career where he was either injured or not picked he finally seems to be getting a run in the team cause Toure took some drugs.

And is challenging for a champions league spot and just reached a second FA cup final in 2 years.

Just hope he marks Jones better than he did Drogba.

4th place and an FA Cup winners medal in the space of a week.

Bad move Joleon, you could of won the 7th place Champions League here but you threw it all away.
