Its kill or be killed in the traveller world, you see it over here all the time. I had a few run ins with them when i was younger, but its a dangerous game because they say a traveller never forgets so you are always looking over your shoulder if you do fall foul of them.

They dont know any different. They train their kids to survive in their own environment in the same way we teach our kids to deal with every day problems we encounter.

it's a funny thing i think, everybody s scared of them and says they dont want to fight them , now i am no fighter but at the end of the day it's a man against a man, i know you get exceptions to that rule such as the Frankhams who were a renowned fighting family and of course donny the bull adams, iy all boils down to mental strength, if you told most people they would be fighting a gypsy they would have allready lost the fight in their heads,,,,,,, for travelling familes it s a way of life,,, it doesnt make them superhuman though.

some of them 'travellers' haven't moved their arses for over 20yrs!!!!! I've had farts that the smell has travelled further ffs!! Pikey [Poor language removed].

I've never understood the whole fighting thing.

I've had scraps like, and this may make me sound like a girl, but why fight over something small that can just be discussed?

I've got this mate originally from Tipperary who said the police just close either end of the roads off when they start fighting each other then reopen them when they've finished their fights!! Won't get involved, just leave them to it!!!!!
