Looking at getting some equipment for home but everywhere either seems to be out of stock or really expensive...fkn covid.

Where are the best places to buy weight sets and other smaller equipment I can use from home?

I keep getting directed to Argos but everything is out of stock...

I just googled "Gym Equipment" and it seems not that rare.

And I have never been to a gym in my life.

I am very very bored though.

You can probably still find one of those "over the door frame/removable" pull-up/chin-up bars. I added this to my small workout routine (mostly running and some "core" exercises) and I was surprised at the results; mind you, I'm not huge and never had a lot of upper body strength, but after a steep learning curve (I literally could only do one pull up when I got the thing), I saw changes in arms/chest after about 2-3 months. You can find plenty of styles/prices on Amazon that are still available.

I’ve got one in my kitchen and will usually do a quick rep when passing through or waiting on food, kettle etc. Can build up strength fast. Good for your chest, back and core

Yeah, I have one permanently mounted in an out of the way part of the house and it's so easy to get into the habit of doing a few reps. I can also see the TV from mine, so that helps when watching Everton. I recall someone telling me that the pull-up bar was the single fastest way to see good results and I must say I agree...I saw quicker results when compared against running or stomach crunches, etc.

It's impossible to buy anything for a reasonable price currently. Fitness superstore is a good place. But you need to search all the time for places periodically get stock in but it sells out quick. I'm taking about weight plates.

You can buy bars and benches etc..

If Rocky taught me anything it's that abusing meat builds fitness.

Get the meat of your choice out of the freezer and punch it relentlessly with a motivational rock tune in the background and you can stop being a bum and have some lovely tenderised steak for tea.
