There are strong rumours ( I repeat rumours) on the Brighton forum and repeated on our forum that something very unsavoury was found in the Palace dressing room at half time on Monday. This, together with Poyet feeling that he has taken them as far as he can, that a £10m budget for next season is not enough and wanting out anyway has culminated in him getting suspended.
Brighton's official statement merely says Poyet and his staff have been suspended pending further investigations, so the "unsavoury" thing in the Palace dressing room story may not be cobblers.
Buy the way; overrated, don't go there.

Rumours now confirmed by Brighton and confirmed in The Telegraph. Someone gained access to the away dressing room before the game and smeared excrement on and around the WC facilities. Poyet, to his credit, very embarrassed.
Palace forum now suggesting that Brighton ground be renamed "The Amexcrement"
