Guardiola's Jibbed it at Barca

Player Valuation: £70m
Looks Like Pep Guardiola has told Barca he's off at the end of the season.

He's looked like he's about to burst lately and had a major rant at the recent Barca vs Chelski press conference.

IMO he hasn't done anything particularly special in getting the worlds best players to win a few trophies. Whoever comes in next year should be able to repeat the feats of Pep assuming the majority of the top players stay.

Big Question is who's going to take over at Barca??? Perhaps a cheeky bid for Miracle worker Moyles?

I think this may be Rafael the gaffer's route back into the game.

Man City to try and steal Messi away while Barca are Managerless..........you heard it here 1st *taps nose

He was a doormat for Messi to wipe his size 3 boots on apparently. Messi dictated to Guardiola who he could and couldn't have around him on the pitch. The next feller through the door better get used to the idea.

Not surprising. Both he and the players have looked jaded lately. The chap from Bilbao would seem the natural choice but apparently the favourite is the guy who's won the Greek league for the last 3 years. Valverde I think his name is.

Have you just made that up?

Come on, man. This is like Allardyce saying he'd be perfectly capable of winning big trophies with big teams, it's harder than it looks. If it wasn't everyone would be doing it.

Magnificent coach.

He seems to be held in quite high regard on the continent and has been linked with pretty much every big job. He's also a ninja(albeit a fat one) in European competition. Looking at who might go there leads me to him as I can't see them going for a coach who isn't proven at the top level.

Maybe I've done him a slight disservice there but the vast majority of the players where there before he arrived and were already widely acclaimed as the best side in Europe. He oversaw an evolution in their play that I believe would have happened anyway.

It is a hard job keeping a lot of ego's in check so for that reason he deserves credit.

They weren't thought of as the best side in Europe at all. In Rijkaards last two seasons they never won a single trophy. In Guardiola's first they won every one they entered.

I thought he would have ended up at chelsea at the end of this season but he says he is taking a beak from footy
