Probably one of the most enjoyable films I have watched in a very long time, just a perfect blend of humour, action and emotion.

Totally agree mate. I was dragged along by a mate and ended up thinking it was brilliant. Would thoroughly recommend.

Really? I thought it was lame.
Thing is, there is never any sense of peril and as a result no emotional investment in any of the characters in a Disney film. You know they're going to get through with smiles on their faces and everything will be hunka dory by the time the credits roll.

Bingo, there were some funny bits like but that's it

Would be good if we could get them to solve some of our current day issues.

Ferguson, ISIS and no striker signing etc.

Call me a big kid, but thats actually one of the reasons I like Disney films :) I love happy endings :hayee:

As for the film, it was top of my list of films I didn't want to watch this year. A friend told me it was good and I reluctantly went along to watch it, there was pretty much nothing else on that I hadn't seen. I ended up really enjoying the film

Free fire zone, continued air strikes with special forces training local fighters, Demba ba on loan.
I'm available for consultancy fees negotiable.

Thought it was really good fun,

if anyone's seen the 'Firefly' TV series, and the film 'Serenity', then I think there's a similar blend of action/sci-fi/comedy in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Loved the soundtrack too!

what's the one I like that had the spaceship that was alive, and a girl in it who was black and white, even though the show was in colour ?

can you remember ?

I agree there was no real sense of peril, it didn't bother me though. It wasn't edge of the seat stuff, just bloody good fun!

Or Nemo's mother or Up's wife?

I thought GOTG was great craic. The action scenes rattled along, well paced with no messing about. The end sequence, slipping between the 3 struggles (the girly fight, the air battle and the rest of the lads), was very well done.

My 9 year old loved it and that's their target audience so I'd say job done
