I'm struggling to be outraged so I must be missing something, we got loans from an offshore company which may have been linked to Phil green. where is the crime?

It depends on whether the people giving out the loans are documented and have a say on the way the club is run

Absolute idiots, none of them had any clue what they were even clapping for, they just didn't want to be seen as if they were condoning so-called "kopite behaviour".

I realise that protest marches are not most people's cup of tea and that that BU really turned themselves into an embarrasing laughing stock but the CORRECT message that many supporters wanted to spread about Kenwright and Green asset-stripping this club and leading us down a path to nowhere was just ignored because too many couldn't be arsed to listen to the facts
How did the Blue Union turn themselves into an embarrassing Laughing stock, they told anyone willing to listen what Billy Boy and his cronies were doing to the club, not many were listening.

Therein lies a major issue for those of us who raised those concerns moons ago, the greatest living Evertonian (self titled), insisted he retained control for the benefit of the club yet there is no evidence of this, but a fair bit siding with him retaining control by any means necessary to the stagnation of the club at a time when funds were washing around in abundance. Very self serving chairman painted differently to be applauded by those unwilling to see or listen.

We will never know whether Bill and his pals saved us from a Leeds type oblivion or a Man City type revolution, we can only deal with where we are today. For me the big miss came before Bill, when we missed out on the PL gravy train as the team (and opportunity) of the the 1980's was torn asunder by a combination of the European ban and poor executive management. We have never recovered and gave up our seat at the top table all too easily. Football is full of crooks, it's easy for them because it's awash with cash and in the main is run by idiots, but my abiding hope is that Moshiri is not only a shrewd and wealthy businessman, but a man of integrity, time will tell.

I can tell you from personal experience that there was too many nobs involved with it, people who were just looking for attention to become twitter famous. That SOS1878 is one of the worst accounts you'll ever read, deliberate attention-seeking trolls and they were heavily involved in all the protests and public meetings. That bloke who dressed up like a clown and carried the cake during the march as, bloody hell...

They had the right message, just not enough sensible people in charge of getting it across to other supporters. Plus Kenwright ringing up the Echo, his other journalist mates and ex-players to tell them all to basically keep slagging his detractors off in the press to make sure the movement didn't get off the ground in the national media, that didn't help either.

We've basically lost 20 years. I actually salute Kenwright for blagging his way through this period without major supporter unrest/relegation, definitely more by luck than judgement.

Means we've been treading water for so long though. The way this club has been run since the conception of the Premier League has been completely small time. Started from the word go with that abysmal Park End cow shed they had put up. Such a lack of ambition.

Kenwright's entire tenure can be summed up in with the following; He sacrificed success and ambition and for mediocrity and popularity with neutrals.

"Plucky little Everton" is his legacy.

It looks like we are reading from the same page, PaulieMc, the men running the Blue Union were all genuine Evertonians,
who had the good of the club, one hundred per cent, at heart, Kenwright was in it for himself, and he has made a lot of money out of Everton, with potentially, a lot more to come, and has still a big say, unfortunately, in the running of the club.

Only when he has gone completely from the club will we start to prosper.

I still don't understand why we would need another loan if Moshiri has cleared all the debt. Especially from an Irish car salesman. Something isn't right

I think what a lot of Everton fans would like to know, if this story is true, is if Mr, Moshiri has paid all the debts off, why was this loan taken out after the debts had been cleared, how much interest are Everton FC paying on the loan, who sanctioned
the loan etc etc.
