May have got us out of a hole or two but there comes a time when these loans should be paid off with newer, better rated and safer ones. Instead we see Bobby Le Carse moved upstairs (with Keith "Awful" Harris) after taking over from Whiners.

My recollection was that Earl (and friends) wouldn't permit any transition or loan repayment as they were enjoying a nice earner on their part of the deal (details I'm not sure) but pretty certain they held the board/club/business to ransom for well over a decade - when you're desperate you'll pay the price so to speak.

Gotta love the Everton Golf Club board. Another glass of Prosecco with your Beef Wellington, Jon? We weren't much better when Moores controlled the whole show and installed his yes-men. Ambition? Don't make me laugh. The Everton (Golf Club) Way will never change with the wrong people having a measure of control. 24/7 Searches?
