Still gives me the hee bee gee bees to this day we battered them for 70 minutes then gary Stevens passed the ball straight to molby and they scored. I asked the lad in front of me who scored for them and when he said rush my heart sank even deeper as I said to him oh god and they never loose when he scores he looked round at me in horror and said jeez I'd forgotten about that. We should have been 2 up at half time as yet another great penalty shout against them which never gets mentioned in that game was turned down. My mate cried like a baby all the way home and I was close to it myself.

I didn't actually start following football until 1988, so my first disappointment was the 89 final, I use to let losing get to me then, the players were more down to earth and the money wasn't in the game like it is today which IMO has ruined it. I just can't quite get the feeling about the game as I did back then. But I shall certainly get excited again if we start winning trophies again, all we have won in all my years supporting Everton is the 95 fa cup and the charity shied, not really good enough.
