Hello

Presume there are other threads on this topic but I can't find them and am feeling lazy. I want to know where is good to eat near Goodison and does anywhere still do a decent bowl of scouse?

Many thanks in advance for your wise contributions.

How close to the ground are we talking? As in do you mean it has to be the Walton area or would you be willing to get a short five minute taxi ride to the ground?

The Ship and Mitre on Dale Street (it is the edge of town) does a great bowl of scouse, has a great and wide ranging selection of beer and is always full of blues.

The café on Goodson road doe's a decent pre-match fry up and mug of tea.

It get's packed though, and not much room between each table.
