Bez the Blue

Player Valuation: £500k
I was wondering how strong the feeling on this site was for a possible groundshare with the s***e. I personally like us to be unassociated with that shower and i feel we would lose our identity and possibly hamper our appeal. It would make commercial sense, but for me it would be heartbreaking to leave goodison, which is our manor and i would feel a bit sick to share with the norwegians.

Numerous threads on this one. Normally there is a difference of opinion on this one.

By the way, welcome to the thread. I hope you enjoy it here.

Yes, I've been all for it on the many previous threads but I support it from a distance & accept that the locals are better placed to determine what happens on this matter.

For it to work, the ground would have to be owned & run by the LCC and, from reading between the lines, I don't think they care much for us.

LCC dont give a toss about Everton! They are a shower of SH**BAGS who've done nothing to help us and i for one would have no confidence in LCC if they got involved which of course they would and there up the R/S arse!

i often thought that a shared stadium would be good for the city, a fourth grace on the waterfront. especially with liverpool applying for cruise ships to dock here. the visitors would love seeing the ground from the ship. attracting visitors to the city and maybe a sports sector. by sandhills . but this city has to many people with short sight when it comes to opportunities like this, and not just on the council. within both clubs and supporters. lets hope the football quarter comes off.

Open to it, I like the idea. Try as we might to disguise it with pantomime, they're basically our best mates most of the time. It would be great for the City's image and for tourism. If they bring in 90% of the tourist dollar, so be it.

it would be a good idea, sadly there are to many obstacles.
Sadly true

If both clubs could get together and maybe grasp the fact neither club can afford a new stadium each in these hard times it could go ahead, but there's no chance.

lol! I guess I really don't need to read between the lines do I?

Regardless of people think of either club I think ours and their only hope of an elite stadium is a joint one and along with the joint heritage both sets deserve something worthy. A few heads would need to be banged together first though..

Better stadium for both teams, and one of the best stadiums in the uk? Cheaper? Yes please...

...Works for Inter, works for Bayern.

Whats the disadvantage exactly?

What's happening with their 'handbag' Stanley Park stadium? I thought that was all going ahead?

And no from me. It wouldn't feel like home. I know we are not financially in a position to be picky, where as they are, but just no anyway. Dont want anything to do with them. Such a nasty club. Or have become the past 10 years or so. Bleugh.
