A friend of mine was hit and killed last night after a car mounted the pavement and hit him and another mate. His wife had a baby a few weeks ago too. He was only 33, R.I.P Colin Weir.

Had something similar happen Friday, mate I used to play online with for many, many years, lost touch with him recently, but found out he had a heart attack, he was 36 with 4 Children, Happy Christmas.

Life is so fleeting, blink and you miss it.

The A55's one of britains busiest roads, disgusted its not gritted! My dad had to call his highways councillor mate to get flintshire sorted!!

Chester ringroad one of busiest roads in the country ? I take it you mean Wales by that, as I can't see it even being in the top 20 in the north west

To be fair it is a very busy road, runs from Chester to Anglesey so it gets all the lorries etc on it from the ferries at Holyhead xx

gritters should be on ALL main roads tbh.

People don't get winter tyres over here, it's not cold for a prolonged enough period usually to need them, which is why when it does suddenly go like now everyone is caught out.
