Was about to shave it off then but don't want to risk the cancer. Missus can like it or leave it. Probably leave it and I'll be in here having an emotional breakdown soon with you guys looking after me.

Maybe that last part won't happen.

I wouldn't stress over your missus leaving you; if it's going to happen, it's gonna happen. But you might want to inquire with her sisters/friends what they think about men going grey vs going bald.

Unsure if your serious or what mate but this goes down as one of the best posts I've read in a long time. What a mind.
Cheers. It's a theory I developed a couple of decades ago when, being a science teacher, kids noticed my hair (which was long at the time a la braveheart) "slipping off the back of my head. "

I've managed to convince dozens of them since that this is true. Obviously the girls don't like the theory, but you get most of them back onside when you bring up the blondes. :p

Proof you can be either and still succeed with the ladies

Im 28 years old and my missus says I'm starting to recede. She says she would prefer if I went grey. Obviously this is the first sign of an upcoming affair she's going to have.

I'm quite contempt to go bald as my hero Zidane is also bald. I don't plan on doing a rooney aswell. However I'm questioning other people's beliefs now. Do more folk agree with my wench and think grey is better than bald?

Get your thoughts in people. What would you prefer? Have we got any bald or grey people in here who want to be different. Help a confused citizen out and vote.

Sorry to hear you are losing the hair so young, john :(

But you posed the question so I will answer it.

It is a no brainer.....grey all day long ;)

I mean, if you are grey and would prefer to be bald, you can always go to the wood.

But when you are bald....you are bald.

And I have yet to meet a bald man whom would not love to have his Barnet back.

I speak as a man in his 60s with a full head of grey hair

People say it makes me look "distinguished" :pint2:

(well, my one surviving auntie in Hunt's Cross does anyway :()

Buzz cut. Hair is retreating couldn't give a flyer add a bit of stubble and everyone's a winner. Still got the skills :)

Had badly receding hair at 26 so shaved it off and embraced it like the young, confident man I am.

My bird also dumped me around that time and I've been single since but I don't think they're related.
