Oi scouse Gary Barlow I'm not having a go at all pasties or indeed any past lovers.

What I'm saying is these two dodgy outfits churn out food that most dogs would turn away from.

Get your self to a proper bakery and enjoy the meaty goodness x
Completely agree with this, I eat plenty of pies, pasties etc, but I've not had need to visit Greggs for many years. Pretty much every town will have a far superior alternative bakery.

Jesus Christ almighty.

I've pondered this long and hard and the truth pains deep inside but its Greggs.

It should be Sayers if you're scouse as youve been brought up with a sausage roll in your grid to stop you kicking off as a kid in town but over the past few years Greggs have pulled away.

Shout on the sausage, CHEESE (missing in the Sayers equivalent) and bean melt. A fine pasty.

You got to compare the two flagship products though: chicken pasty and sausage roll.

Greggs are superior in both areas.
I can only agree with this. Sayers (particularly Broadway cafe and branches on County Road) ruled the roost in my youth, and that means I've voted Sayers, but Gregg's are better these days. I know @Morag disagrees.

What's going on with this "Pound Bakery"?

Greggs [Poor language removed] on most places for boss cakes, Sayers reckons it's something it's not imo trying to be posh and tha, Greggs gives you your food cold and tells you to cook it your bloody self which i quite like.

Sayers owns the pound bakery and it sells the exact same gear as them, just cheaper. Can't argue with two cornish pasties for an alan wicker.

Sayers were quality as a kid. The cheese and onion pasties were as nice as anything. Then they changed the flavour to fall in line to everything else.

greggs by far now. Cakes are nicer new pasties are decent, korma, pulled pork to name a couple.

and the sausage rolls

sayers out of being loyal but fuffed up making lil square pazzie on the other hand bacon and sausage barm with coffee for 2 squid greggs has me going there

Surprised at the amount of scousers suggesting Greggs is superior to Sayers.
