Green Flag or RAC?

We have been with the RAC for years, can't remember ever having to use them much and the annual cost is about £142 (with a monthly DD) and we have definitely taken our eye off the ball here as it rolls over each year and a bit gets added on. Green Flag seem to be offering a very similar membership package, if not better, at £51 a year outright or £57 monthly.

No brainer right to move acrosss to Green Flag? Anyone here with them....happy, unhappy, indifferent with them? Ta very much.

I'd call RAC and query vs Green Flag price, see what they have to say.

I always found the RAC to be extortionate. Green Flag all the way. Same coverage, but cheaper. And when I broke down on the M62 (clutch cable problem) at 3am they were with me in minutes. And their repairs were good enough to enable me to drive another 70 miles to my house.

At one point I had AA gold membership for being a member for about 10 years, and then took out car and home insurance, and saved bare money.

I'm with AA and they whack it up every year when it renews, as soon as you phone them and query it they stick it back to the original price. They must make a fortune off people that can't be arsed to keep an eye on the renewal price.
