Savage is brilliant, causing as much mayhem and ruffling feathers/egos off the pitch as a pund as he did when he was a player. Him and Gaz Neville are both straight talking, cut you as soon as look at you (with words like) ex pros. Talking sense again. Asking how we expect Serbia to be banned from competitions if we hand out 8 and 4 game bans for racist abuse.

Robbie Savage, speaking about tackling racism on BBC Radio 5 live's 606:

"I respect Jason Roberts for coming out and standing up for what he believes in, same with Rio Ferdinand.

"When I was playing we would be given the tee-shirt and cards and we had no choice. You were given them and you wore them. It is good that people stood up to it.

"But my point on this is this: You can't be handing out eight and four game bans for racial abuse, and then saying Serbia was so bad what happened. I think 20-30 game bans should be given for racial abuse, then you can be stronger about what happened in Serbia."

I agree with him. If Abramovich wasn't a loon then that'd be a great shout - Moyes is exactly what Chelsea need.

Problem is, Abramovich is a loon. And Moyes would have to be a loon too to even consider it.
