Bit of a daft idea that moomin to be honest.

Now if you could all head over to my new How did we get the nickname "The Red Devils" thread, I'd appreciate it.

lets be honest, rubbish threads are pretty funny...especially when the same posters keep creating them, i like the very specific ones, like -

new thread - what does everyone think of baines corners from the left and are they too deep and should we have everyone up and should we blah, blah, blah

What is the best running dog that's also a good family pet? 11/17/2011 9:33PM Reply | Return to Index | Report Post

I've been researching the crap out of this question, but I'm one of those guys who can never get enough information before making a major decision - like buying a dog. Does anyone have a recommendation for a great running dog that's also a great family pet? I'm looking for a dog that can run a marathon with me, handle technical trails and will be safe with my young children. So far I'm looking at German Shorthaired Pointers, Vizslas, Brittanys and Rhodesian Ridgebacks (okay, I really want an RR, but I'm kind of worried about my wife and kids being able to handle it while I'm at work, even though I can bring a dog into my office). THANKS!

How do guide dogs know when to cross the road? 5/27/2009 12:14PM Reply | Return to Index | Report Post
I was walking to school today and there was this blind lady with her black Labrador guide dog waiting to cross the street. It was a two laned one way street. There was a car at a red light in one lane and the other lane was completely empty. As I was walking by I told her she could cross the road, which she duly did.Now I'm thinking whether I should have left them alone and let the dog decide when to cross. Did I mess up its routine or something? At first I was glad I helped but now I'm kinda worried...
