Apparently Pelle was kicked out of the Italy camp for refusing to shake Ventura hand after being subbed. Overreaction or no?

To me it shows a manager who doesn't have command of his team and is insecure in his position. Or he's just a narcissistic c___.

to be fair does it not mean the opposite if the manager just kicks him out straight away?

No messing about, you don't shake my hand, you get out the squad. Strikes me as being in control of things, can't control whether a player will shake your hand or not, unless you are kopites and freeze framing things to prove guilt on other players.

To me a confident manager wouldn't particularly care but there's obviously two ways of looking at it.

it's persepctive. If pelle was the only one not to shake his hand and he doesn't react then generally he looks a push over i think. It is just being disrespectful to the coach and his decisions when players are meant to respect them.

Soooooooo, by kicking him out the squad he wants to have a set of players who will do as he says and respect him at the same time, rather than feel they have any sort of leeway to step out of line. It could well be a culture thing as well, what the players normally do.

Our squad is not the Italian national squad. The legends that have played in that shirt he wears. He's a no mark. A nothing.
Eh. Haha. They have Zizi or Zaza or whatever his name is in the squad. Now HE'S a no mark. Pelle is a proven Premier League striker. He's not a 20-goal a season striker, but he's a handful and a more than useful player. Would take him in a heartbeat for us given the absolute state of our striking department.
