Unfortunately it wouldn`t be classed as a "dinner" without the gravy.I know mate, but it doesn't happen in Woolshire, and in all my years of going into chippies around the Liverpool area, I've never actually seen it, so I'm refusing to believe it.
Anyone who doesn't ask for it without gravy is a heathen and will hopefully die an early death.
Gravy is incredible stuff.I've noticed that, since our new manager's been appointed, there's been some bad mouthing of gravy on this forum. This has to stop, gravy is ace.
It's not appropriate to mix it with mushy peas though.
