I didn't see this thread. Opened up a Paddy Power account today and as I couldn't narrow it down, I had five each way bets on Seabass, On His Own, Imperial Commander, Cappe Bleu (obvious choice) and Teaforthree. Lost a fiver overall but, with the free bet, have five pounds more than I deposited.

Not bad considering the last winner I backed was Aldaniti in 1981!

the nationals hard to predict mate last two winners a 66/1 and 33/1 madness. I never do E/W's either had sunnyhillboy last year and teaforthree this year

I tend to win more at Cheltenham mate and its a good weeks worth of betting I only find the main race at Aintree to be worth it the prices at antepost are poor for the fav's and ladies day is good for a wank but nothing else
