Grand Prix: The Killer Years

Caught this, was disgusted. That level of cynicism at organisational level, the last 10 minutes of the documentary that I had previously no knowledge of should have seen drivers, teams and officials banned or imprisoned. Not seen such callous disregard for life on a sporting field before. Appalling.

This was on BBC2 last night and was the second time I had watched it, fascinating stuff. The sheer disregard for life and the attitude towards the drivers association regarding improving safety procedures was truly sickening. It was a different world away to what modern Grand Prix is.

On a side note, if your are a F1 fan I would strongly recommend watching the documentary Senna if haven't already, which came out in the cinema last month. On DVD in October.
