I love our History song... 'If, You know, Your History!' I love it, but can't we come up with something better to replace the latter part about the red ****e. If we're playing liverpool it's ok but it just sounds stupid against anyone else. Why mention liverpool?
It could simply be changed to 'We don't care what you ****e say'
I understand it's not going to be easy to change but let's think of some ideas :)

Sorry, that was a bit harsh. If this is only a bit of fun then sound but it's been our main song for years, and the bit about the redsh*te is because we hate them. Everyone sings about their rivals no matter who they're playing. Nothing's changing la, no need.

The whole idea is that they're our rivals... It doesn't sound stupid when we're playing other people, cos we still don't give a **** what the red ****e say.

/Shameless plug.

I wrote this one after the QPR loss.

It's a bland old team to play for,
It's a bland old team to support,
And if you quell your misery,
It's enough to make some cheese on tooooooaaaast.
We don't care if Kenwright won't pay,
Won't you sell us a share?
'cause you only know that we're gonna call for Jo
When the Everton boys don't care.

It's not really got anything to do with noising up other clubs. It's a statement of identity as Everton FC.

Incidentally, Celtic and Hibs sing "We don't care what the animals say" - a general poke at all the other lot.

Doesn't really matter does it?

You could say they don't sing as much about us because their behaviour in pushing down walls, getting us banned from Europe when we were the best side in the world and cheating their way through every derby gives us more reason to hate them than vice versa.

Plus, it's one line really. It's not like the entire game we sing just anti-Liverpool songs. It's more of a 'we don't care what they say about us' or just a statement of our identity.

Additionally, who's arsed?
