Ye currently addicted to the stupid game, full of false dawns when you think you have cracked it, closely followed by crashing back down to earth! H/C is 5, hope to get down to scratch, been playing 3 years but feel next jumps a big one. What about you @Scouse?
I've also noticed that in Liverpool it tends to be a predominantly " white " persons thing too ?.
Top course I can only dream of playing somewhere like that I'd be out all the time! I'm from Southport originally my old man was a member at Hesketh then Formby Hall. I'm near Leeds now but made the trip last summer to play Formby Hall and the Par 3 course there. Think lessons is next step for me, not had one yet but don't think il get much better now unless I do.It's massive jump now, I play off 6 and have done for years. Unless you practice like mad or a proper naturally talented 5 or 6 is about as good as it gets.
I'm a member of Southport and Ainsdale but don't really play much now, I've played about 6 times this year.
I did play yesterday though and played well so have got the bug back.
I started playing when I was 11 up until my mid twenties.Ye currently addicted to the stupid game, full of false dawns when you think you have cracked it, closely followed by crashing back down to earth!
