I bought Forza 3 on the XBox360 and the replayability on it was slightly lacking for me - and I knew GT would blow it out of the water. So not surprised.

Saying that, the idiots at IGN rate GT5 lower than Forza 3! Go figure.

To be fair it's not just IGN.

I'm not arsed about either though. Realistic racers are something I never really got. They're just a bit boring, imo. I only like racers like Mario Kart, Burnout, Blur. Things with a bit of an action edge.

Although I guess there are a lot of people who do like their racing sims, and the release of GT5 is something they've been waiting for, for a long, long time. Hope you enjoy it!

I've got it on my rental list. It's got really positive reviews, and Criterion do know what they're doing when it comes to action racers.

I only play games that kill or murder people, I cam drive cars in real life, never understood the attraction to sitting on a sofa....driving.

More of a Need For Speed/Burnout man myself but put Gran Turismo on my Xmas list at it looks great too and is very different.

Oh and IGN would give Forza a better score as it's massively up Microsofts behind.

im going to get this! and glad i waited as i hear there is a big problem with the online side of the game at the mo!

but a mates got it and i must say it's fooking ace even with out online!

You can drive real life cars, at realistically possible speeds, around real world tracks. You can even change gears and everything.

I'm more of a accelerate and occasionaly brake if i'm going head first into a wall kind of guy.
