Often the only crisis people have around middle age is doing something perfectly normal (grow a beard) or that they've always wanted to do since they were 10 (buy a nice car) and then everyone labels it the result of a "mid life crisis." Doing anything but puttering around your garden in slippers or hanging about in your shed is apparently sign of a crisis (whereas I think the opposite is probably more true).

Anyway I like the beard. The rabbi isn't a patch on the panda though.
