I go away every year November/December and then January but apart from the odd exception got to be home for Christmas . Doesn’t feel the same otherwise, I know it’s childish but love it .

Humorous cartoons aside, I love Chrimbo!

I went through a stage in my mid-late 20’s taking the humbug approach. Probably as a retaliation against not getting as decent presents as when you’re a teenager lol

Now I’m in my 30’s and a hardened pi$$ artist, I’ve come to accept the festive period as the celebration of alcoholic debauchery that it is.

Me and my younger brother in the front room drinking the household dry and binging the worst movies on Netflix while me mar and aunt barricade themselves in the kitchen with the Christmas dinner cooking, crap music on the stereo and ALL the wine.

For Yanks, the Christmas season is upon us as we’ve now participated in our annual ceremonial burial of memories of the natives. We’ve got our tree out now, decorations soon, then to figure out lights.
