It would be a nice feature to offer but I'm not convinced the audience/demand is there to warrant the resource that would be required to deliver something to a standard required consistently.
I've looked at other fan sites (as well as the blag ones that pretend to be fan sites but they're media businesses) who offer podcasts and I look at the view counts, note they're typically in the hundreds and wonder whether it was worth the effort to produce/promote.
I also note the vast majority fizzle out pretty quickly, I suspect because they realise the above - tons of effort, not much return/response.
