I take it then that the A-CP has formally withdrawn its candidate/s leaving the election to be a rather undemocratic one horse race ?

In the light of said developments and in the interests of harmony, this thread will be terminated and sent serenely on its way to slip down the Ale House pecking order before sinking into the swamp of discarded threads.

Termination time circa 4:30pm today to allow for one final round of canvassing in the event that the A-CP feel a need to make its closing statements final.
