So I have this idea to live in different places for 6 months or so at a time. My job is completely virtual. I just have to adjust my hours to fit the US work day.

For some reason I've decided if I go to France it will be Montpellier.

Utterly despise the snobby, contrary, rude, smelly, sex obsessed, moaning, insect eating, work shy sociopaths as every good english man should.

you forgot Cheese eating surrender monkeys

also not quite sure snails are insects, think they are something ending in 'pod

Nice scenery, wine etc, best part of the Tour month.

If I had a bucket list ( CBA ) doing the Tour would be there

Like almost every Country the people are fine individually ( with the usual low % that spoil it for everybody.

But sometime Collectively and Governmentally they get a bit insular

Must be getting a bit mellow and back to my hippy-ish youth

peace and love to everybody

they do a decent bit of strike action, give them that ,and they chopped up a few posh knobs in the past so not all that bad really, need to brush up in the war stakes and then they might be sort of alright.

Folks gone back to their caravan this morning for a week. Gave them €50 to bring back some Normandy Sausages and about 30 bottles of the wine the Mrs likes.

I shall be holidaying there next summer, but possibly having a drive down to Italy as well, a week there, 2 weeks in Italy, then a week there on way back sound like a good plan at the moment.

sounds a very good plan, would like to see a bit of both of those places, my mate has just done a rail tour ,taking in both and a trip to spain said it was really good getting off the beaten track.

They are actually pretty successful, war wise. They've just not fared too well in the headline acts.

Amazing landscapes but the people (in general) are unpleasant, and Paris is just a French version of London that smells of piss, I don't get the fuss.

Rubbish beer
Under cooked food
One bog for everyone in a bar/pub
Too hot
