Rhodes is a great goal scorer but I think strachan is right, I'm not sure he would work as a lone striker! It would be worth giving him a chance in a friendly tho, give the lad a chance to prove strachan wrong! He's definitely the best penalty box striker we have, I would have him in the squad for a different option

I think they'll turn "Ingerlund" over tbh,Strachan has got them ala Moyes playing as a team,working their trolleys off,our lot may possibly have more ability in the ranks but I don't see anywhere near the heart and desire Strachan has instilled in the jocks.

Yeah Fletcher plays an important role, the ball sticks with him and it brings Anya, Maloney and Naismith into the game. Rhodes would need to demonstrate that he can do that if he wants to play under Strachan, I would give the lad a chance in a friendly to prove himself!

It's amazing Fletcher is able to play football at this level with the illness he has, he will always struggle with fitness now as keeping his fluids up becomes a key issue, let alone the arthritic pains he'll have. They have to make the most of the minutes he can play, class player.
