Goodison used for Shrewsbury ticket collection

So what's all this about? Why are we involved? I assume we're doing something nice... I just don't understand why we're needed.

I think their staff are on winter brake, or it could be because we have close ties with Shrewsbury since our most successful manager since Big Joe once played for them.

Is weird, maybe theres is too busy with tourists, I dunno, but it seems like it's only Shrewsbury we are helping..... although the posh Tory types who support Liverpool use the Park End car park when there at home.

Probably to prevent huge queues around the pit. The few times the box office has had a queue at Goodison on match day its made it a right pain to get around sometimes.

Its another nice little gesture from the club and its things like this that set us apart from most clubs.

However, maybe if we stopped being so concerned about being nice we might have the time to focus on the other thing that sets us apart from other clubs, like our inability to ever win a game of significance for one.

stories like this never make the news, they'd much rather report on who's cutting footballer's hair and how much mo salah paid for a pair of trainers

I never said it would. I just think that if the club got their priorities right and spent less time trying to be the nice guy of football and more time trying to make us actually win stuff we might not be so utterly garbage all the time.

Could be an indication of improved commercial acumen as I doubt it's being done for nothing. The stories aboit the Everton club shop printing player's names on shirts for the red shop next door but one could also indicate same. Baby steps I know, but the right direction of travel.
