Robert Jarvis

Player Valuation: £35m
On reading the accounts I must admit I had a coughing spree.

According to them GP is valued at only 8 Mill, can you believe that. Crikey we got that much for Bellefield! Not sure if that is the worth of the land footprint only or does it include all the scrap iron!

If you had a house worth £80,000 would you spend £100.000 doing it up, I would not but that is exactly the dilemma with GP. Surely even if we had a £100 mill to spare clearly it would be better to build a new stadium.

Each weekend on MOTD I see clubs, supposedly smaller than Everton with uniterrupted views even many Championship clubs have clear views like here in Burnley. That in my book is the real failing of this board and the previous ones to not attend to making GP better. To be fair to BK I can understand his keenness on Kirkby which is self explanantory. But how on earth did he and the others (Gregg) mess up Kings Dock. That could now have been our home right in L1.

This is not a thread intended to exploer our finances that is done elsewhere but merely to draw our plight to where we call home.

Sentimentality is what crap clubs have to fall back on.

I'd happily burn the place down if it meant a more profitable alternative. Don't get me wrong, I love Goodison, but I love Everton more.

However we don't really have a choice. We've no money, hence no options.

Robert, this is at the heart of everything. Everton could probably pull 50k a game and sell out corporate suites with a new stadium.

It's about Goodison but only to have a go at Kenwright so it needs to be in it's rightful place mate, which be the Kenwright thread. Otherwise it gets all messy around here.

If this is about Goodison, here's a question for you..

Every time I go, which isn't as much as I would like......I always have a pole or an overhanging stand in my way......

Just where is the best unrestricted view/seat, available for non season ticket holders? x

bit of thought a some wedge and goodison could be good agian, the roof getting done like sheff unt for a start , put a new teir and boxes in the parkend before we build anything else there and that would do us

I was not having a go at BK in particular, I did mention it was a failing of many boards. It is about our old work horse which is past it's prime. A lament if you like, to believe it is worth only 8 mill is incredible and so sad.

technically i reckon with land/house prices the way they are it would be about right if you put some houses on the land you wouldnt be far off

yes that would be about right the houses round there arnt that dear, so as its no good for anything else but a footy ground you would have to base it on that or about half the price of a big fat gypsy wedding as a going rate
