On reading the accounts I must admit I had a coughing spree.
According to them GP is valued at only 8 Mill, can you believe that. Crikey we got that much for Bellefield! Not sure if that is the worth of the land footprint only or does it include all the scrap iron!
If you had a house worth £80,000 would you spend £100.000 doing it up, I would not but that is exactly the dilemma with GP. Surely even if we had a £100 mill to spare clearly it would be better to build a new stadium.
Each weekend on MOTD I see clubs, supposedly smaller than Everton with uniterrupted views even many Championship clubs have clear views like here in Burnley. That in my book is the real failing of this board and the previous ones to not attend to making GP better. To be fair to BK I can understand his keenness on Kirkby which is self explanantory. But how on earth did he and the others (Gregg) mess up Kings Dock. That could now have been our home right in L1.
This is not a thread intended to exploer our finances that is done elsewhere but merely to draw our plight to where we call home.
