Anfield and the Emirates have a cafe serving food and drinks to tour groups / museum visitors, but to be honest, compared to places like the Nou Camp, Emirates, OT and Anfield I just don't think the demand is there in terms of people visiting Goodison to warrant a comparison of facilities. Anfield, Old Trafford etc have tours every hour, every day and are geared up for making money.
But I get what you mean, maybe they could have opened up the bar in the Dixie Dean suite and served drinks in there whilst we visited it? They could have charged us or done it as a complimentary to obvious loyal Everton fans - but either way, I don't really think the couple of quid for drinks from a few tours is that big a deal in the grand scheme of football finance, 100K a week player contracts and the new Sky billions. It's not like it's the lost cafe money preventing us from buying Messi or building a new stadium is it!
I also loved the fact that it was a personal tour at Goodison and it confirmed both the 'people's club' image, and also the image of Evertonians being awesome
