Nice clip. Felt quite emotional watching that.

I wish I could have seen the old main stand. I never went until the late seventies. As Impressive as the new main stand was at the time, there was more symmetry to Goodison before the Goodison Road and Park End stands were redeveloped.

Me too. The old incarnation of Goodison looked quite boss.

The main stand looked like it had less obstructed views than the current one, even if it was a bit further from the pitch.

had a love/hate relationship with the old park end. Spent many a pissed wet through cold winters night stood on the square steel bar at the back, but it is where my love for everton was formed and will forever hold a special place.

...and the shot of the massive floodlight in front of the church too,

feel sorry for the poor sod who had to light the candles in that !!!

I didn't realise you were a Notts County fan, Tommy.

I love the asymmetric nature of it and the way that it is both a huge stand and a huge uncovered terraced area. Even now, I love the Bullens more than any other part (though I've never been in the new Park End) because it reeks of history and pies and my dad and Dixie and my granddad and Alex Young.
