Well, at least this year we didn't knock a perfectly good wall down and rebuild it six weeks later. Saved some money there.

Everton Head of Partnerships: "It's the time of year we secure the deals".

Yes, lad. You lot are doing a bang on job down there. Give yourselves a hug from Changy the Elephant.

Un-****ing-believable.

I had a dream the other night that all 4 stands were demolished and being rebuilt - I will have to lay off the beer!!

How on earth Carter has the face to appear on Sky beggars belief.
Carter was chairman of the club during our most succesful period in the 80's,
Carter was instrumental in the formation of the Premier League.
Carter was chairmen when we were in the top four clubs in the country.
From this position of strength Carter allowed the club to miss investment opportunities, opportunities taken by a string of other clubs in the early 90's, and sowed the seeds for us to be the poor relations for the next 20 years.
During his time Goodison was not improved onceapart from a new roof at the street end.
Carter the catalyst of our problems to my mind.
90's

You missed one out mate:

...Carter is a Tory Tvvat.

'A full of house of over 40,000 will be expected for the opener against Manchester United'

They must have built a new stand under our noses lads ! IN BILL WE TRUST

Still wished for the Kings Dock project to have worked out :(

...a feller who's dined out for decades on the story of him not sacking Kendall.

What an achievement. He didn't pick up a phone and sack someone.

Cheers Sir Pip. Thanks for all the great memories kidder. Your place in history is secured.

I'm not actually feeling that arsed about the new season. After the olympics, the thought of some poorly educated millionaires diving and cheating to get each other sent off, while we go defensively all out to secure a goalless draw, bores me to tears.

I'm sure I'll change when the season gets here, but I'm prepared for the same old, same old.
