Goodison atmosphere so far this season...

Think it's been a little bit better than in the past 2 seasons. But it's simmering up ready for the boo boys to cry and moan as soon as we slip to a defeat. Already boos last night as little Crystal Palace dared to come and match Everton on the field to prevent us being handed the 'walk in the park' victory our deluded, self entitled fans expect in games like this.

After the few boos after the game last night, I thought it was worth a debate.

The Goodison atmosphere this season, 1/10 - how would you rate it? And comments...

The boos were an absolute joke.

Goodison has lost its way a bit, and bar Middlesbrough where it was angry and the way it should be, it's been absolutely dreadful.

The disease that is negativity has crept in over the past 2 years or so and it's just disappointing to see where parts of our fanbase are at the moment. Booing, 7 games into the season after a draw. Nah.

Imagine the boos were for the absolutely abysmal second half showing that everton produced. And the previous two absolute shockers vs Norwich and Bournemouth.

I feel it's more positive than the last couple of years, but that element of latching on to individual errors and blowing them out of proportion is still very much there.

I think one of the problems of being an Evertonian in recent years is that our problems have usually been of our own making, rarely do we get taken apart by amazing opposition, and this leads to frustration-led angst amongst many. I have the same feeling at times but I put it aside during the match and be as positive as I can in my support for the players.
