I have £320, do you recommend a decent one?
I'm looking for a 50 inch if possible.
A 50" around the £300 price point isn't going to be great.
Have a look on avforums before you buy anything, they're a decent bunch and most AV stuff will have been reviewed or commented upon.
That's what I think too. The budget 4k TVs won't be able to display 4k material very well.I don't know a great deal but this rings true.
You might be able to get a good 1080 HD but the 4k models at that price range are not gonna be great - especially 50".

4k is only good if you are going to be playing 4k content otherwise go for a 1080HD set. Don't get hung up on smart TV's either because they only allow you to use the pre installed apps mostly; therefore a top HD set with a firestick is better and more flexible.
Does this have prime video on it?I got a TCL one earlier this year, its been brilliant, I got a smaller one that you're after, just a 32" one, it's for when I'm on the exercise bike. Prevously had a TV and firestick, but it kept loosing connection, or getting out of sync between audio and visual. this TV never has though, touch wood. Also if you have an android phone, when you set the TV up it can instantly copy across your WiFi settings and apps making the set up take only a few minutes. I watch Netflix, Prime and Disney Plus on mine, all work great. TCL do a bigger version, 55" £299.

Mine does because it copied it over from the apps on my phone. I think normally the prime video app is not in the app store. I think this is because amazon want people to buy the firestick instead, but there are videos on YouTube that show you how to get around this.Does this have prime video on it?
