...and it's the Grand National over the same weekend. A very popular bet is an e/w Double on the Masters and Grand National, especially with lots of bookies playing 6 places on the golf.

I've got a few big priced ones in my Grand National portfolio at the moment, might double up with an interest on David Casey.

Ive always felt willet was handed the masters as he never lead while playing the final round so didnt feel the pressure of maintaining the lead.

Strange one Augusta. Used to be all about a players short game skills that ultimately decided the champion. However since woods' domination in the late 90s and early 2000s the powers that be decided to significantly lengthen the course (wrongly in my opinion) as it now significantly rewarded the 'bombers' off the tee. Nevertheless a shrewd short game and a great putter will still get you in the mix, hence why speith is such a good player round here. A 'bomber' with a great short game would normally put Jason day in the frame, but sadly due to personal issues I don't think it will be this year for him. For that reason I'm going for Dustin Johnson and Rickie fowler. Both players have won this year and both have the game to win there.

I think that's very harsh. The way Willet played the last 3 holes whilst leading, including a career up and down on 17, made him a justified winner, whilst those around him wilted. Strange that the lad has barely done anything since.
