Jags..class

Player Valuation: £70m
Is this a good way to measure how good a kèeper is over a season? Its seem mignolet is close to winning this for 2015

It probably shows more who has had a decent defense and goalkeeper.

Its based on clean sheets is it ? Would have thought Chelsea have the most although they have changed gk at different points during the season, same with Arsenal, have the rs kept more than United ?

Yep, based on clean sheets

Your goalkeeper is only as good as your defence, unless your goalkeeper is Neville Southall, in which case your goalkeeper is Superman.

And he also benefitted from an ace defence at one point, as an added extra.

My first nine words of this post though, that.

If Ming face is close to winning it this season then no it's not a good indication.

He's actually an alright keeper but had a bit of a Howard this season.

I disagree, I think he's actually been very good since December or whenever he got dropped.

But surely De Gea has been the best this year, and Lloris has been outstanding too so no, it's a stupid way of measuring the best keeper.

Yep, based on clean sheets

So he's ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal's keeper due to them changing that position during the season, he can't be too far ahead of De Gea surely.

Its not really an award for best keeper anyway, more just for most clean sheets, id imagine being named in the team of the year would hold more importance for the players too.

Most definitely Mingolet should win it,if only to highlight the almost super human man management skills of B-Rod who pretended to drop him indefinitely and achieved by that single bit of his 3 envelope trick to turn his keeper into the worlds best
Take a now B-Rod

Has to be De Gea...

Anything else would be like picking coutinho ahead of fabregas in midfield for team of the season...
